Product Description Removing corn kernels from cobs has never been easier. The OXO Good Grips Corn Stripper features a container that catches the kernels as they are stripped from the cob. Simply push the Corn Stripper down the length of the cob and the kernels collect in a convenient -cup capacity container. Turn the cob and continue stripping until all kernels are removed. Kernels can be poured out of the top hole of the container into a bowl or onto a plate. The soft, non-slip grips cushion your hand during use and the stainless steel blade will not rust or dull. The Corn Stripper comes apart for easy cleaning and all parts are dishwasher safe. Soft, non-slip grips Dishwasher safe

Oxo Good Grips Corn Stripper September 6, 2008 Best deal I ever got on a "stripper"!!! Seriously, this is the cat's meow when it comes to removing corn from the cob for frying or cassaroles! Very little effort and big results. Can't beat the price either. Buy one for your chef...you can't go wrong!
Not working as well as I'd hoped September 5, 2008 I wish I could use this product as well as the user in the video. This person is even better than the chick on the Williams-Sonoma video. I purchased this product because I have braces and can't eat corn on the cob. (This is a tragedy when you live in IL during the summer.)
After a few attempts, I just can't get it to work properly. I have small hands, which may be part of the problem. The unit comes apart when I try to use it, but when I try to clean it, it's hard to get it to come apart. I'm not above admitting user error in either case. I'm going to keep at it and if things get better, I'll revise my review.
Oxo Good Grips Corn Stripper September 4, 2008 I was skeptical at first, but this product works great! The only setback is that it is difficult to open without corn flying thru the air. Careful, it is very sharp.
Quick and easy to use August 26, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful

I don't recommend this product!!!! August 24, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Oxo Good Grips corn stripper is very dangerous!!!!! I bought this as a birthday present for my father. The very first time he used it he cut his finger open and had to get 3 stitches. So please don't buy this product.
