Its really a necessity when your laptop only comes with two ports and you have a camera, an ipod, a external hard drive, and a mini-mouse all working at the same time.
Really good and cheap, can't beat that with a baseball bat!

I purchased this as a back up hub for my PS3 system and computer. The price is right, works well with the PS3 Guitar Hero peripherals. No power source needed, a plus with my entertainment systems bundle of cords. The transfer speed is as expected also. Good Value

works great with the apple keyboard with logitech wireless mouse plugged in it, and toshiba 4 gig flash drive I've tried so far with my G4 cube(Tiger 10.4.11) , and my GT5676 quadcore Gateway with Vista Home Premium.

This belkin USB hub is value for money. Its designed nicely having
all the 4 USB ports on each side of the hub with sufficient space between them.
Cons:
The cable length is slightly less, but thats fine with me.
