Not the biggest platter out there October 31, 2006

I was so taken with what I thought this platter would be. I wanted a large flat serving platter. I read the description and looked at the picture. In person it is rounded, almost curved up, with a lip to the edge. It looks more like a dinner plate than a platter. It is smooth inside but the edge has a etched feeling edge. If I had looked at this in person first, I would not have purchased it.
