Kongo claims a unique place in mid-20th-century Modernism. After establishing a partnership with Quistgaard, Dansk changed the teak handles to black nylon, and Fjord became Kongo. Half a century later, Kongo continues to impress consumers with its timeless Scandinavian design. This five-piece place setting of Kongo consists of a dinner knife, dinner fork, salad fork, soup spoon, and teaspoon. The pieces are made of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel with today's more durable black enamel handles. This order was returned for credit, not because of any problem with the Dansk design or manufacture, but solely because the size of the utensils were a bit too large for comfortable use, especially the large spoon. Hated to return them because they are well made and beautiful to look at. If you are not a large person, you may have some trouble handling them.
