Zafferano means saffron in Italian, and the saffron-yellow stripes on these pitchers add a summery touch to the table any time of the year. Sprigs of hand-painted blue flowers dance upward from the base, while blue stripes make a horizontal counterpoint to the vertical yellow bands.
