4 out of 5 stars Handle too short   August 8, 2008
The idea behind this spoon is great. Holes prevent food from sliding as toddlers bring the spoon to their mouth. The curved handle is not long enough though. It needs to be maybe 20% longer. Otherwise, a great training spoon.

5 out of 5 stars Great spoon.   July 16, 2008
When my son was first learning to use a spoon, I thought the shape of this handle was kind of odd. When he got a little older and could actually hold food on the spoon and get it into his mouth, they worked great. The holes in the spoon really do help the food stay on and it's very easy for him to grip it.

3 out of 5 stars We must be doing something wrong...   April 23, 2008
The other reviews rave about how the food stays on the spoon...I'm not sure what we're doing, but we must be doing something wrong.
Right now, my daughter is 1, and still used her spoons more as toys than as utensils. I get that. But when I do get food on her spoon and she does get it in her hand and starts moving it to her mouth...the food falls right off.
I got the spoons because of the great reviews that the food miraculously stays on the spoon...but haven't actually experienced that yet.
Disappointed and hoping for better results as we use it more...

5 out of 5 stars Great product!   April 18, 2008

Overall a great product. For whatever reason, food seems to stick to the spoon better. And the curve of the spoon makes it easy for my 21-month old to put food into his mouth. He basically finished feeding himself the whole bowl of mac and cheese the other day. And he is so proud of that. As far as cleaning, I thought food will get stuck in the holes. But it doesn't, so it's easy to wash. The only surprise I had was the color. I expected them to be blue and yellow like the picture, but I got orange and pink, which is ok too.

5 out of 5 stars The BEST spoons EVER!!!!!   April 15, 2008

I try to write short reviews so people don't lose interest. I think all I really have to say is that at 18 months, my daughter STILL wouldn't feed herself, she never tried it much. Usually she would just whine and cry until I fed her. Months of struggle, irritation, worry that she wasn't developing as she should and annoyance passed. I gave her this spoon, she fed herself, and never looked back. BRAVO! I highly recommend these to everyone! I bought more two days after having the first set!!
