 Very Nice Candy Dish; Dimensions are Inaccurate January 16, 2008

This is a very pretty little candy dish. It is crystal with a bright red transparent foot, nicely applied green and red holly leaves and berries and some hand cut details surrounding the painted design. The box indicates this item is made in China and a sticker on the bowl recommends hand washing. Mine was well packaged and arrived undamaged.
One caution to note is that two of the three dimensions listed on the Amazon product page (9 x 7.5 x 2.5) are completely inaccurate for this item. When I ordered I thought that 9 inches across the top would make for quite a large candy dish! The true dimensions are: 5 inches in diameter across the top, 2.5 inches in diameter across the bottom, and 3.5 inches tall.
This little dish is a nice size for mints or nuts, and holiday m&m's would look great in it. At the year-end sale price of $5.95 it is certainly a good deal.
