 Not what I expected September 2, 2008
This set of Dansk Bistro Cafe flatware was not as heavy, nor were the knives the same size or shape as the other Dansk Bistro Cafe flatware that I own. I did not compare the forks or spoons with the set I already owned to see how they compare as the knives were enough to convince me that this set was not what I expected, and therefore, returned it.

I first went to Macy's to "feel" the different flatware options and check prices. I was going to order Oneida but didn't like the feel of it when I was in the store. This Dansk flatware was thin and well balanced. Not at all what I was originally going to order but fell in love with the balance of the fork and knife! The tines on the fork were small which is what I wanted. I hate thick tines. I have already washed these in the dishwasher and they came out shiney and beautiful. Amazon had a sale going on which saved me an additional $25 when I ordered 2 4-setting sets. My total was $116 for service for 8. Macy's was selling the same item for $320! Can't beat the savings!!!
This flatware is perfect for both casual dining and entertaining.
