 Not so pleased September 9, 2008
The candles themselves are a nice heavy weight and beautiful. The fact that they lasted the equivalent of 72 hours lit was not so great. Each candle uses three double "a" batteries. I assumed because they were "led" candles they would stay lit a very long time. I returned them with no problems at all.

I was a bit worried from the one negative review on ordering these candles. I purchased 8 for the holiday season a few weeks ago. All 8 work just fine with AAA rechargeable Eveready or Duracell alkaline.
In addition, the base is heavy giving the candle a sturdy feel. None of the cats have managed to knock one of these off the window sill (yet).
We also like the ability to select either white light or the flickering yellow. Lets one change their appearance based on mood and location.
These are higher priced but so far seem to be worth the money.

I bought 7 of these for all of my windows. They are so warm and inviting with the flicker amber setting on. It's my favorite new holiday decor purchase this year. I love them!!!!

I bought 4 of these for my wife. She loves Christmas, and decorating for the holidays. 2 worked fine, and 2 would not work at all on white light setting. they did all work on yellow light setting. Not the quality I expected.
