Quite nice, but dimensions are a little off . . . January 4, 2008

This is a very nice heart-shaped crystal serving bowl, made in Germany, with lovely transparent red and green color on some of the raised holly designs in the crystal. A note in the box indicates that this item needs to be hand washed. It was especially nice to purchase this item at the year-end-deal price of $7.19. The only discrepancy I find is in the dimensions. The true dimensions of the bowl I received are: 10.5 x 10.5 x 2 (inches). The dimensions listed under the product details on the Amazon product page are 11.8 x 11.8 x 3. The actual item is a bit smaller than the dimensions advertised but this is of no great consequence. The discounted price makes this item a good deal and I am looking forward to using it.
