Amazon.com Review Attractive enough for use on a pretty buffet table, this caddy stores flatware on the kitchen counter in sleek, contemporary style. It holds a dozen knives, dinner forks, salad forks, teaspoons, and soup spoons and measures 11 by 9 inches. Knives fit at an angle in slots in a center rack so their handles can be easily grasped. Heavy, stable, and dishwasher-safe, the caddy is chrome-plated and has a thick, clear acrylic base just above its hexagonal feet. --Fred Brack

Flatware Caddy September 25, 2008 I was well pleased with this product. It was exactly what I had in mind for making flatware available for large family gatherings.
Attractive and functional! August 22, 2008 I have been using this flatware caddy for about 2 and a half months now, and I am very pleased with it. It fits nicely into the drawer in my kitchen that used to hold the ugly, always getting stained, plastic flatware holder that we all are familiar with. This one stays cleaner, looks pretty, and is functional as well...it holds the flatware just fine! The only thing I would change in the design is the knife holder area. It works all right, but the knives do not stay lined up straight, and sometimes actually slip down off of the knife holder area, as the caddy doesn't really secure them into place. For everything else that this caddy does well, I can easily live with a couple of unevenly placed flatware knives!
Very nice item August 26, 2007 Great for parties. I like it very much. Some of my utensils wont fit though, because the spacing is too narrow, A little less than half an inch. Other than that, its all good.
OK but not perfect November 20, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The caddy looks very nice and will be useful. But it has a couple of problems which weren't apparent from the description.
It only holds about 8 of my forks, etc, in each stack. I don't think my flatware is unusual. The handles are thicker than the tines of the forks and the bowls of the spoons. So when I put them in the caddy, the stack begins to slant more with each additional piece in the stack. By the time I have 8 in the stack, the slant is steep enough that the next one tends to slide out.
The knives are put into the caddy at an angle, with some pointing towards one side of the caddy and some towards the other. The problem is that there isn't a notch where the handle rests, so the knives tend to flop around when bumped even very gently as they are when someone picks up another of the knives.
A must have for a party hostess December 14, 2003 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
I saw this organizer on the buffet table at a friend's holiday party last night. It made such a neat and orderly presentation of plastic silverware that I had to search the internet for it this morning. Can't wait to use it at one of my parties!
