Product Description The silver bullet, the famous shaker design of the 1930's, returns to your bar in gleaming stainless steel. Inspired by Art Deco design and popularized by the sophisticated, cut-loose crowd of the swing generation, this shaker shines in brilliant polished 18/8 stainless steel. Packaged in a sensational see-thru cylinder, you'll be able to mix up a martini that would make Minnie The Moocher blush. Five-year warranty.
Amazon.com Review The 28-ounce Metrokane Bullet cocktail shaker won't necessarily make people better bartenders, but it certainly helps them look the part. The art-deco-style Bullet is made of polished 18/8 stainless steel, with smooth lines and a gleaming surface that give any kitchen or den an air of sleek sophistication (think 007). Cocktail shakers work by reducing the alcohol's temperature in crushed ice without diluting the taste of the beverage. Bartenders merely pour their martinis, margaritas, or Manhattans out of the integral strainer and voila--an attractive, flavorful beverage that looks almost as good as the Bullet itself. The drip-free spout ensures a minimum of spilling, and the entire unit--which comes packaged in a clear gift box--is dishwasher-safe. --Rivers Janssen

the perfect (and stylish!) martini shaker October 4, 2008 I bought this for a friend who *loves* it! Its sleek styling and excellent functionality combine to make the perfect martini shaker.
I'd give it a 5 without the dent! April 11, 2008 This is a great cocktail shaker. Good party size. It's clean lines just scream martini. Thanks to a poor job of packing, however, the "bullet" top (which is mere decoration and not necessary for operation) arrived with a small dent. I assume this is the fault of Target and not Amazon. Having read the woes of others who purchased this same shaker, I'll live with it. I'll shake up an Espresso-tini and make up a more interesting story about the dent. Cheers!
excellent, large shaker May 25, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love the large size of this shaker- when I am entertaining and I have freinds over for dinner, I'm able to make drinks for ALL of us at one time. The pieces are easy to take apart and I do not need to worry about spilling.
It's a keeper! March 2, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This shaker is definately a keeper! Solid, sleek, and bigger than many at 28-ounces, I can mix for a group instead of individually.
A better martini shaker February 2, 2006 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This shaker won Cook's Illustrated test of martini shakers late in 2005, just before the Christmas season. Branded as a Target shaker, it was out of stock before you could click "buy." I finally figured out it was the Metrokane Bullet and ordered it asap. It *does* live up to the hype, on one factor alone. It doesn't drip or spill when pouring. Yes, it's stainless steel, it's elegant (if not a little too phallic for some,) it's large enough to mix two *good sized* martinis, and...so what? Each of the other 5 cocktail shakers I've owned had these things going for them (but with more traditional tapered profiles.) But they all leaked when I removed the top/jigger measure from the body of the shaker. The Metrokane is one of the few shakers that has the lid fit inside the neck of the main shaker, so that it is easily removed to pour without any liquid loss or mess. All parts are well made and fit, but are easily detached for cleaning or refilling. So long as the shape doesn't bother you, this is the best martini shaker no doubt. Cheers!
