quick and easy November 23, 2008 The martini maker is compact and easy to use. It's a nice accessory to have on hand for entertaining. I received mine as a gift and really like having it. If you enjoy martini's then you would love this little gadget!
an absolute must! November 5, 2008 I am a total gadget freak and this is one I believe I cannot live without! Fabulous conversation piece at parties to boot!
It doesn't make a cold enough martini for my tastes... July 19, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'll make a long story short. I like a cold martini that's very well shaken so that there are ice crystals on the top of the drink. This machine is not capable of doing that.
Don't get me wrong, it's a cute thing and seems to be reasonably well made. If you like your martinis cool to somewhat cold, it will probably be a good choice for you. However, I like my martinis very cold and it's not up to the task of making them the way that I like them, even after multiple cycles back-to-back.
I also tried to make a Lemon Drop Martini using a powdered mix. 2 cycles later, it did not shake hard enough to blend the mix properly. Drinks poured from the top of the shaker tasted mostly of water and vodka where the bottom was very sweet due to the largely undissolved mix.
So...It's just fine for those who like cool to somewhat cold martinis, but if you like them very cold like I do, it's probably not a good choice. And if you're going to be using powdered mixes, the shaking may not be strong enough to mix your drink properly.

Husband's new found love of "martini" April 27, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this shaker for my husband's birthday. Was not sure what it would be like but since he does enjoy martinis now and again thought it would be a neat gift. It certainly was a hit with him. He said it made a perfect martini. We followed the directions to a tee, and now he enjoys several different kinds of martinis mixed by the shaker. It can also be used for other mixed drinks, without the mess of shaking yourself. Recommend this product to all.
