4 out of 5 stars Great fondue pot   October 30, 2008
I have been making cheese fondue for over fifteen years. This is the first time that I have used a hard anodized surface. The product worked great. It is very easy to clean up and the cheese did not stick. The burner will spill easily if moved, so be careful. Overall, I think it was the best choice for what is available. I plan to order another one for my mother.

5 out of 5 stars Love the Fondue Pot   January 8, 2008
Gave this as a gift to my sister. Just heard from her. She and her family love it. The used it as a meat fondue so far and will be venturing out to use it as a cheese fondue this week.

We just love it. I ordered it for a beach trip and we were able to have fondue for dinner down on the beach. Since we have had dinner in the park numberous times. I just love that it doesn't require electricity and makes the best picnics. People stopped to admire our fabulous setup!

I love it. I have been making my favorite cheese fondues for the past 15 years in my regular pans on the stove. I decided it was time to invest in a fondue pot. I thought it would be fun to serve several fondues at the same time so I purchased a cast iron one first because I liked the idea of being able to cook the fondue in the pot on the stove and then move it directly to the fondue burner. The cheese burned and stuck to the bottom and was very hard to clean. My next pot had a ceramic insert and I filled the copper pot with water and placed the insert inside. I had to cook the fondue in a seperate pan on the stove and transfer it over to the ceramic one. This pot didn't keep the fondue hot enough and the cheese began to set up. I purchased this nonstick pot and loved it the first time I used it. I cooked the cheese in the fondue pot on the stove and transfered the pot to the burner. It stayed hot and didn't burn and the clean up was a snap! Perfect for what I was looking for.

I had one of these before I got divorced. My exwife took it when we seperated. I had been given a cheap...scratch that...not so cheap set from somewhere, which included all sorts of little extras, and it was all stainless steel. Problem was, I couldn't get the flame anywhere between full blast and off. To top it all off, every single fondue dish burned to the bottom of the pot. That went in the trash after about 3 uses, and I ordered my simpler Circulon Fondue Pot. Nothing sticks, clean up is easy, and the flame stays just where I want it. It was worth spending less money.
