Product Description All-Clad LTD cookware boasts a highly polished stainless steel cooking surface that is durable and easily maintained, combined with a hard anodized heavy gauge aluminum exterior for efficient, even heating. This small fry pan gives you a chance to try out the line, as you cook mushrooms, onions, a couple of eggs, and so on.
Amazon.com Review All-Clad's LTD cookware combines a dramatic contemporary design with superior cooking performance. Ideal for cooking for one, this LTD 7-1/2-inch frying pan is just the right size for frying a few strips of bacon, scrambling a couple of eggs, or browning one chicken breast. The exterior of the pan is black hard-anodized aluminum that is resistant to scratching, chipping, or peeling while the interior is 18/10 stainless steel, offering nonreactive cooking and an easy-to-clean surface. An aluminum core bonds these two layers together and also provides superior heat conductivity. The ergonomic handles on this frying pan are made of 18/10 stainless steel and are designed to help balance the pan and stay cool over heat. LTD cookware should only be used over low to medium stovetop heat to prevent discoloration but can withstand oven temperatures up to 500 degrees F. Designed and warranted to last a lifetime, All-Clad cookware should be hand washed to preserve its beauty and longevity. --Cristina Vaamonde

Best I ever had July 24, 2008 This is the best pan I have ever used. I received it as a Christmas present more than 10 years ago and it is still the one I always use because things don't stick to it. Only draw back is that it is a bit small, so I am just about to buy another larger one.
This size is especially good for doing 2-3 scrambled eggs. When doing the eggs nothing at all is left sticking to the bottom of the pan. Sometimes there are a few bits around the top edge, but a quick rub with some steel wool takes care of that.
I read the most negative review and cannot imagine why she was having touble with it. I always use it on the highest setting on my electric stove with a bit of canola.
She said something about having to stick to low temp's. Maybe she was reviewing the non-stick pans and not the stainless-steel interior ones. So my guess is that her review is actually for a different product.
Excellent Pan! November 8, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this little pan ... perfect for making omelettes. I purchased this to replace my old teflon non-stick pan. All you need to do is spray some oil before cooking and it doesn't stick at all. I don't know what other people are doing, but my eggs slide right out of the pan and cleanup is a cinch.
Beware of All-Clad not made in US July 13, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
All-Clad pieces made in China are not the same quality as All-Clad pieces made in the US. I have a set whose pieces were all made in the US and they are wonderful. I bought some of these "teaser" pieces to supplement my set and they were awful--hard to believe that All-Clad even put their name on them. The only difference is that the cheap pieces were made in China so who knows, this may not be the reason why they were bad but it's the only thing I can go on. If you buy them at the store, the box will be clearly marked "Made in China" or "Made in the USA."
If people think all All-Clad pieces are similar to the cheap ones made in China, they are wrong. But unfortunately All-Clad will lose many (potential) fans with these teaser pots and pans.
All Clad January 22, 2007 It's everything they claim it would be. However, I prefer a non-stick surface. I would probably buy a Calphalon pot in the future.
A great value February 5, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This pan is a great value. Sure, it's a little small, but you can see that when you order (it's only 7 1/2", not 12", after all). I've had two of these pans for four years now, and they're wonderful. Buy these, and buy the 12" one too. You won't be sorry.
