4 out of 5 stars Perfect pan for finger foods   December 29, 2007

"Santa" brought the Pancake Puff to my son for Christmas and we are loving it. I followed the directions (lightly brushing the wells with butter & cooking on low to med/low heat) and it works great. We've made pancake puffs, brownie puffs, and omlet puffs and they are fun & great tasting. It does take some practice to get the hang of flipping them, but as long as you don't fill the wells too full and you let them cook long enough it becomes pretty easy. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a fun way to get your kids in the kitchen & involved with cooking. Very fun for my 6 year old & I.

1 out of 5 stars Beware   November 26, 2007
My husband reminded me to Beware of the "AS SEEN ON TV" of course I allowed the kids to talk me into this. It arrived in a package with limited care instructions. I seasoned the pan, then used the oil as suggested, then tried non stick spray. None of these actually prevented the pancake mix from sticking. It was worse when I tried the eggs. The surface is quite bumpy. Just a cheap non stick finish over the Iron which came off almost immediately. I washed as directed, dried and it rusted almost immediately. BUYER BEWARE!
I would suggest an Aebleskiver pan (a danish delight now reinvented into the "pancake puff")
