5 out of 5 stars Pleased   October 14, 2008
This item arrived very quickly, it's a nice addition to the rest of my Emerilware and I'm very happy with the product.

4 out of 5 stars great grill   May 21, 2008
Love the grill, and the way it cooks. Only problem is clean up and the weight. Being cast iron, it's very heavy!

1 out of 5 stars Enameled Coating big Dissapointment   May 10, 2008

For those of you who want a review from a lover of cast iron that actually owns this...

I love all my cast iron cookware, except this one. The enamel coating on it is horrible. I'm not sure you should even season something that has been enameled, and I would be willing to try (probably ruining the griddle completely), except that this griddle really does not hold heat evenly. I am going to give this one back to my mother in law and buy a lodge logic.

sorry Emeril, you rock, just don't like this piece.

3 out of 5 stars Emerilware Cast Iron Reversible Grill/Griddle   March 26, 2008

I like the grill and when I cook on it the food comes out great. The problem is either I don't understand how to take care of this grill or the grill has issues. Cleaning this grill is horrible. It takes a long time to get it clean.

2 out of 5 stars Cracked cast iron griddle   October 19, 2007

I own a small cast iron skillet that I love and keep very well seasoned. I've been wanting a larger skillet to do some stovetop grilling. I purchased the single burner one because I felt the double burner one was too heavy/large for storing in my cabinets. I used it a few times and love the versitality of having a flat side and a grill side. I just pulled it out the other day to roast some chilis. I had it on my electric burner on med-high and heard a pop sound. I couldn't figure out what it was. And then I heard it again and saw that the griddle had a crack in the middle of it. I have never had any problems with high heat and cast iron before. I am very disappointed in the quality of this piece. Cast iron should be able to withstand searing hot temps.
