Every pot needs a lid to tightly seal in juices over hours of slow cooking. This sturdy lid fits the Sitram Braisier/Stewpot and any other model 28 Sitram pots. The lid is made of the same heavy 18/10 stainless steel as the pot; the sturdy, stay-cool handle is welded on, and includes a lifetime guarantee against separation. Simple, but very effective. April 6, 2008
Simple, but very effective. Small steam vent prevents lid from jumping/rattling while simmering. Just add a few "real corks" under handle or you'll always need to use a towel/oven mitt as the handle will be hot. Both the lid and the cork have had no problems being run through the dishwasher.
