Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
Crafted from a blend of materials, this 8-inch-diameter deep skillet from Farberware offers the excellent conductivity of aluminum with the convenience of a nonstick interior. The pan features highly polished 2-1/4-inch sides with a slight slope--great for cooking cornbread or frying meats. Oven-safe to 350 degrees F, the pan requires little oil during cooking, releases food with minimal sticking, and cleans up easily. Its comfortable phenolic handle is stoutly riveted, stays cool during stovetop use, and sports a hanging ring. Farberware recommends hand washing and the use of wooden, plastic, or nylon utensils to best preserve the skillet's interior. --Emily Bedard

Product Description
Every kitchen should have at least a couple of skillets in different sizes for preparing eggs, fish, meat, and poultry. The benefits of non-stick include easy food release and clean up as well as requiring no extra fat for cooking.

5 out of 5 stars 8" Farberware fry pan   November 19, 2008
Great little pan, for small dishes. Cooks evenly and cleans extremely
easily. I would highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Omelette pan   June 25, 2008
This is perfect for omelettes. No sticking, no spray needed. Omelettes are browned just right. Comes out of the dishwasher clean as a whistle.

2 out of 5 stars Disappointed   June 17, 2008
I found this skillet to be less than non-stick. My scrambled Better Than Eggs stuck to the skillet.. As I said.. Very disappointed.

1 out of 5 stars For Non-Stick- Stick to T-Fal   May 24, 2008
I purchased one of these skillets for cooking eggs, carefully followed the instructions, but it was a disaster. Cooked over medium heat with olive oil, but the eggs stuck horribly and would not come out in one piece. I cleaned the skillet and tried again, this time using more oil, but with the exact same result. I've never had this problem with my T-Fal cookware. What's more, when I went to the Farberware website and tried to submit a question, I got an error message saying that my email address was already in their database. I tried again with another email address and got the same message! I will never purchase Farberware again.

5 out of 5 stars Fulfills all wishes...   March 18, 2007

I'm a single male who enjoys cooking. I bought a Farberware 8-inch from walmart some years back and it's been my favorite little pan ever since. For some idiotic reason when I decided I needed a couple more, I bought the Ecko Radiance pans for less than half the price. They are now used as pet dishes (read my review if you like). I couldn't find the same Farberware models I bought before, so I ordered two of these classic 8-inch Deep Skillets... best pans you could imagine. Balanced to sit flat on your electric burner, no slide bottom, non-stick top that works! These pans will hold up forever and are worth twice the price.
