Product Description Simple and fast. This microwavable egg shaped container makes perfect soft or hard boiled eggs. Holds up to 4 eggs. Dishwasher safe.
Amazon.com Review NordicWare's handy Microware TM series for the microwave gives home chefs the tools they need for clean, lean, and fast cooking. This unique egg boiler safely prepares up to four hard- or soft-boiled eggs within its own white, oval shell. To use, simply place whole eggs into the little grooves of the interior perforated shelf (piercing not required), then screw on the top and cook. No more hot water and delicate maneuvering to keep the delicate goods intact! The plastic boiler is high-heat tolerant and goes conveniently into the dishwasher. --Kara Karll

Nordic Ware Egg Boiler September 7, 2008 Once you get the cooking time correct this cooker is a pleasure to use. No more heating up the kitchen and it cuts the cooking time almost in half. Cleanup is a snap.
Time Saver August 30, 2008 I am so happy I found this product and tried it. I LOVE IT!! It saves time on cooking and clean up! Highly recommend this product for all boiled egg enthusiasts.
great product August 27, 2008 I bought this egg cooker as an experiment, and it has worked way better than I expected. We can boil eggs, hard or soft, and not heat up the whole kitchen boiling water on the stovetop. It does get hot of course so taking the top of the cooker off can be a little hairy. Not a problem if you want hard boiled eggs--just wait for it to cool off or run cold water over it until you can handle it. But when you want soft boiled eggs still hot, you just need to be careful not to burn your fingerprints off! My son is in a college dorm and I am considering getting him one of these--he thought it was great to get hard boiled eggs in a hurry when he was at home, so I need to check with him to see if they have room in their frig for eggs and then I will probably get one for him. I really like this product!
It really works but... August 23, 2008 If your looking to cook eggs faster then this is the tool. The only downside is you will have to figure out the cooking time depending on how many watts your microwave is. Anyone using less then a 1000 watt microwave should buy a new one seeing how most microwave times are figured at 1000 watts or more.
Best Little Egg Boiler August 21, 2008 My sister first purchased this item, she is known as "grandma gadget". She raved about it, so I bought one. The first time I made soft boiled eggs, I times them for "soft" - not great. The next time was on "medium" and they turned out wonderful. It took me longer to peel the eggs than to cook them. My husband loves them for breakfast and I love not having to heat up the range for this. My sister also uses this for steaming veggies. She puts the water in the bottom, the veggies in the top, and steams them to her liking. I will have to give this a try.
