Product Description Endorsed by fitness-guru Richard Simmons, this electronic food steamer features three individually controlled steaming compartments, so each food is steamedand ready simultaneously. Use all compartments at once, or only one or two. The middle heater provides 650 watts of power; the left and right heaters deliver 500 watts each. By setting the timer, three types of food can be cooked at different times, but finish all at the same time. Cook eggs, rice, vegetables, fruit, fish, and more. An audible signal indicates when food is ready. Steaming begins 30 seconds from the start time with the "express steam" setting, and each compartment can be set to cook for the same amount of time by using the direct-start function. The unit can also be set to keep food warm for one hour before automatically shutting off.

big piece... August 29, 2008 Works nicely, pretty fast : 10 to 20 minutes for most vegetables and fishes. I did not use it to cook rice so far. Easy to fill-up during cooking, easy to wash. A very nice feature is the delayed start for the compartments programmed with a shorter cooking time. Every thing is ready at the same time! Pretty large, nice if you cook for a family, a little bit overkill for one or 2 people
Good steamer August 11, 2008 I steamed several ears of corn in the steamer and they turned out great. I haven't tried the rice yet. I will say the steamer is very large and takes up a lot of space on the counter. There are also too many pieces to wash even if you only use 1 compartment. I liked the idea that you can put different items in and the program with have them finish at the same time. Also, the programming was very simple and easy to use. Overall, if you plan to steam a lot everyday, this is the steamer for you. If you only steam vegetables, consider a smaller unit.
Better than I expected! April 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this steamer to replace my outdated one, and I am glad I did! It does everything it claims, and it is just so easy to use. It is big, and having eight people in my house, bigger is better! The steaming compartments really do steam separately and keep different foods totally separated, so no flavors mix. I really like the timer the most. One compartment can be all done and staying warm, while another is still steaming, and a third one can come on and steam whenever you want. Everything can cook for varying amounts of minutes, and still all finish at the same time, just in time for dinner! It is just a great steamer, and I highly recommend it!
Great steamer January 21, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This machine works surprisingly well. I am able to prepare a complete meal without having to hang over it during the cooking time as I would on a stove or in an oven. The flavours of the foods do not intermingle; each pocket of food maintains its own taste. The timer system allows the complete meal to be done all together and the accompanying guide is right on target.

I love this thing. I use it everyday. I love the fact that I can steam 3 different things at 3 different time settings. Best steamer on the market in my opinion.
