Product Description 16-Qt Farberware Stockpot
Amazon.com Review Tempting soups, rich sauces, succulent seafood, and pasta are all reasons to need a stockpot. Versatile and necessary, this 16-quart workhorse comes in handy for numerous culinary situations, and its size is ideal for a larger family or--if entertaining--a medium-to-large group. The pot is made of 18/10 stainless steel and its tight-fitting lid helps to keep moisture in, preventing vitamins and the flavors of the foods from escaping. Aesthetically, this professional looking cookware will nicely complement many different kitchen styles. --Teresa Simanton

16 quart farberware stock pot April 20, 2008 I love the farberware products, mine have lasted and stood up wonderfully. This large size allows me to make enough of my "wonderful" pasta sauce with the meatballs and sausage to share with my kids families and freeze plenty for myself. I know I will have this looking good for many years to come.
Big stockpot - great for crowds September 28, 2007 This is a quality stockpot at a great price. BIG enough to make soups, stews, spaghetti sauce, chili, or cook a lot of pasta for a crowd. You can put an entire chicken inside to make chicken soup or stock and still have room for vegetables. I bought two of them for Christmas gifts last year for a daughter and a daughter in law. They love their stock pots. Easy to clean, too.
great for canning August 27, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My daughter purchased one of these for canning tomato sauce, and was so pleased with it she bought one for me. I was so happy with it I bought a second one. VERY heavy base, nothing seems to scortch no matter how high I cook. No rivets for the handles so the entire inside is smooth and easy to clean. I don't think you could find a better buy.
Proven in use March 28, 2004 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
This pot is PERFECT for making homemade pasta for a moderate to large sized crowd.
The heavy base and large capacity means when you plunge in a plate of still-moist homemade spagetti, the water keeps boiling, or returns to a full boil within a minute or so. Ours has stayed beautiful in our active kitchen for over a year despite constant use and frequent washing.
This is my favorite large kettle.
I can think of NOTHING wrong with this pot.
Update: 4/2005 (a year later) - This is STILL the perfect pot for cooking large batches of pasta and two-chicken soups.
Update 5/2008 (4 years later) - Still looks as good as new, and works just as well. We've given them as gifts, and they are always appreciated!
the POT December 8, 2003 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
great pot for the kitchen. you can cook a lot with out running out of room. the very heavy bottom spreads the heat so you can sear the meat and then make the chili in the same pot. use it for pasta and don't worry about boil overs. love it
