3 out of 5 stars not the best product, but it's good   September 5, 2008
I needed a kettle, because I drink tea & coffee. So, when I saw this kettle in amazon.com I simply know that this kettle is what I want. And it is what I want. Not the best product, but it's good; it's also cheap & easy to use.

I wasn't sure about this product from the reviews, but I took a chance and bought it. It is a great product for the price. I use it everyday!

2 out of 5 stars Spout's top gets too hot   July 10, 2008
Heats well but the top on the spout gets too hot and is too hard to remove for fast pouring.

3 out of 5 stars Get's the job done   May 9, 2008
The metal is so thin that it sound like a train is coming though your kitchen as the water boils. The light metal does not retain any heat. So your water cools just as quickly as it heats up. It's easy to clean and looks OK sitting on the stovetop. It would be a decent gift for someone at a reasonable price.

3 out of 5 stars Not quite perfect!   January 14, 2008

This tea pot is almost perfect. I was looking for one with the spout up higher. I had had one that had the spout low and you couldn't fille it with water. The problem is the whistle. You have to remove it in order to pour the water. It doesn't flip up and it's not easy to remove. it takes 2 pot holders/mits and I'm destined to burn myself. if you leave the whistle out a bit, this is easier, but it takes longer to whistle beacuse the steam also escapes through the spout under the whistle. It looks great and is easy to clean. The handle stays cool to pick up, but because it is stationary, it makes filling from the filtered fridge water impossible. I have to fill another pitcher and pour into this one. My search for the perfect tea pot continues.
