We love the Ginsu 14-Piece set. They are sharp, sleek and look great in the block. We purchased this set because of the variety of blades. We are very satisfied with the quality and affordability of this block set.

I bought these knives for my daughter who loves to cook but doesn't want to or know how to properly sharpen a knife and who puts her knives in the dishwasher. She LOVES her Ginsu knives!!! I prefer carbon steel knives and therefor hand wash and sharpen them after every use. That is too much trouble for her. I put a lot of thought into selecting these knives as a gift and these were a great choice. Works well for a busy Single Mom who loves to cook!

I wanted a good set of knives that did not have wooden handles and would hold-up well in the dishwasher - this set is it!! The knives are very sharp and well balanced, with just enough specialty ones for my use (not a gourmet cook). The block is attractive and fits all of the pieces well. I've been using them for several months now and have yet to have any problems with them - even when washing them in the dishwasher. Plus, the set looks great in my kitchen with stainless/black appliances.

I bought a set of ginsu knives back when they first started their infomercials. Those knives today, are sharper than the new 14-piece set I received. The new set was clearly designed for decoration only, and ginsu should be ashamed to put their name on them. As usual, Amazon was superb in their handling of my order.
