Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
These knife blade covers safely contain sharp knife edges and simultaneously protect them from dulling during in-drawer storage or--for professionals--transportation in a cutlery case. This set includes six covers that are designed to fit steak knives or paring knives with about 4-inch-long blades. The polystyrene construction is durable enough to hold up to razor-sharp knife edges and getting knocked around in a drawer. These blade savers fit all knife brands and are produced in the USA. --Cristina Vaamonde

4 out of 5 stars Does the job   October 21, 2008
These blade savers are hard to find in retail stores. I'm glad Amazon carries them. I've had one for two years for the Sanuko blade and it has cracked. I'm not sure why it has, but the smaller savers do hold up. I prefer these to the snap on, just slide the blade in and you are saving yourself a lot of headaches with cuts.

These covers to protect the blades of sharp knives are just the ticket for on our boat so I don't cut myself rooting around in the drawer or dull the blade while being jostled around while we are underway.
