This is sooo easy! All you do is pour milk or water into the carafe, add chocolate powder or syrup, secure the lid, and push the "on" button. Cocomotion shuts off automatically when the cocoa is ready. And this is steamy, frothy rich cocoa too. Recipes for delicious treats like Hazelnut Cocoa and French Chocolate are included.

 Great item, hard to find but not on Amazon.com October 21, 2008
My husband has always wanted a cocomotion, but we can never manage to find one. They always sell out so fast in stores. So this year I decided to purchase it through Amazon. The shipping was fast, the box in great condition. I can't wait to use it, he will love it. Cocomotion make the best hot chocolate, it's frothy and warm. I like it and I'm not a hot chocolate lover.

The hot cocoa this makes is incredible. Its hard to wash. Soak the container or rinse as soon as possible after using. My first one lasted several months. The second one a few months and the third one less than a month. My friend bought one when I got my first one and it still works 3 yrs later and she uses it often. I am very particular about washing and handling it. I dont know what the problem was.

This machine never sits unused in our house. We've always got the 3LB tub of Swiss Miss & marshmallow fluff in the cabinet ready to go. It keeps us drinking cocoa year round, even in the summer months. It makes the perfect cup of cocoa, smooth no clumps just like you'd get in a restaurant. Takes about 8 minutes. Make it with milk & pour the cocoa into popsicle molds & freeze it, we make our own fudge popsicle bars. I found a cocomotion in a clearance aisle once and bought it in case we'd ever need a backup, or if they stopped making it. But we've had it for almost 3 years now and use it frequently, it's not going to break down anytime soon. This would be a perfect wedding gift. It's not likely going to be the same gift someone else is going to get the couple, and it's sure to get used if the couple likes chocolate. Add hot chocolate mix & marshmallow fluff and wrap it up with a bow! The swirler in the bottom is magnetic so it pulls off easily to wash under. Make sure you don't forget it though, otherwise it will mold underneath the magnet. Our family simply couldn't love this product more, and now that we have it we can't live without it.

My husband and I drink chai tea every morning instead of coffee, and the Cocomotion heats it and froths it up, which makes it very tasty. I haven't been able to find any other machine which is made specifically for tea or hot chocolate, so we use the Cocomotion on a daily basis. It DOES froth well, but I agree with the other reviewer who stated that it is hard to clean. The carafe can't be submerged, and residue collects all around the bottom inside edge, making the machine look dirty. There are little ball bearings in the magnetic stirring mechanism, and they fell out after just a few uses, but we continue to use the machine.

I drink a lot of hot chocolate in the winter and found this was a great gift, the only drawback is the cleaning part, the unit doesn't come apart
making cleanup a little harder, but overall it is a good product.
