Great Blender! November 29, 2008 I purchased this mainly for an immersion blender, but for the Thanksgiving weekend, I took it to our daughter's cabin in northern Wisconsin, where we celebrate with our family. I used the blender attachments for chopping turkey gizzards for the stuffing and then I used the whipping attachment to whip cream. The appliance worked better than I expected such a small appliance should. Lots of power and the variable speeds were great!

I lost everything in a flood and thought I was being thrifty by buying this item to replace an immersion blender and a mixer.
The flimsy beater takes forever to beat egg whites; does poorly on cakes; and is one of the few ripoffs I have encountered while shopping Amazon for years.
Unfortunately, I didn't try the whip function sooner, so I'm out $83. for a piece of junk.
A little bigger than I thought but... November 24, 2008 This is a fine machine! Like the title says it is a bit bigger than I expected but it is absolutely a pleasure to work with. Made a squash soup with it and didn't have to do anything but blend the cooked vegetables right in the pan. It is large but it comes apart and is relatively easy to store. So far we are very happy with this purchase.
Happy with my purchase November 17, 2008 I am happy with money spend on it. Its just so convenient to use and clean. I prepare lot of shakes and smoothies, life has never been so easy. It has been only one month that I am using it. So, can't say about reliability etc. But can't imagine being w/o it now.
