Little toaster, big problem November 18, 2008 I've used this toaster/oven for a couple of years now, and have never been satisified with it. The "oven" is so small there is nothing that will fit into it without touching the heating element. It is hard to clean too. The door to the oven is really tricky to get opened without burning yourself. When you use the toaster, it has to finish the time it was set on, you can't stop it early even if what you're toasting is charring! The outside of the unit heats up also, so be careful about touching it when heated.
the most compact toaster oven for the money November 14, 2008 My office bought one of these and it seemed to stand up to all the abuse there so we got one for home. It takes up less space than any other we found. So yes, you can't fit something very large in it, but it fits a pot pie and it does a fine job making toast so we have no complaints...so far.
Perfect for my needs November 11, 2008 I have no complaints. The toaster oven performs like any moderately priced toaster oven, the toaster works exactly as I had hoped. I would buy it again. If you are hoping for high end results, you probably need to spend more money. I live alone, toast only rarely, but often use the oven instead of my big one. I dial down the temperature at least 25 degrees from what I would use in a large oven and start checking whatever I'm baking with about 10 percent of the time still to go. So far toast and bagels have toasted more evenly than my old B & D toaster oven that front loaded the toast. Easy to clean, with the removeable crumb tray, too! Not had a problem yet, about a month into using it.
Lasted less than 4 months October 26, 2008 My parents got me this cute little toaster oven last Christmas. I am redesigning my kithcen in a retro look and this one, in red, fit beautifully. Unfortunately, after only a few months the switch that changes the function from pop-up toaster to oven stopped working. The little door on top would close but the heat wouldn't turn on. Hubby tried fixing it but he couldn't get the body open enough to even see the switch, never mind attempt a fix. This thing was a huge disappointment.
Not a Good Toaster; Not a Good Oven; Don't Buy This October 23, 2008 This product is neither a decent toaster nor a decent oven. I bought because I never liked how regular toaster ovens toasted bread slices. The toaster on this product can't fit two slices of regular packaged bread. English muffins fall through into the oven section. The oven part is very shallow and things burn easily. There is no timer on the oven so you have to stand by and watch. The only positive is that it is compact and nice looking on the counter. But don't waste your money on this.
