4 out of 5 stars Great deep fryer   November 30, 2008
Works like a charm. The only thing I would change is the size of the basket. I really wish it was larger so I could fry more onion rings at one time. But I was restricted on counter space.

5 out of 5 stars Very efficient, better than most   November 20, 2008
I have owned many deep friers over the years, and this is really the best so far. Heats up quickly, has a nice big capacity and cleans easily. I am glad now that I did my research. Can't beat this one.

This fryer is easy to use and clean, heats up quickly, and drains food very efficiently.

5 out of 5 stars deep fryer   September 19, 2008

I looked at a lot of fryers and read many reviews. The Waring Pro DF100 does a great job! It has just enough oil to stay hot when you put in a pound of frozen french fries. Thawed battered fish, mushrooms and veggies also turn out very well. The filtered vent in the top works well but you do get some smell. I would buy this fryer again and recommed it to a friend.

5 out of 5 stars Good design, easy to use, works well   September 13, 2008
Easy to use, easy to disassemble, easy to clean, delicious food - - what's not to like?

The design is very nice. It really is a "Cool touch". Mechanisms for opening and closing the lid, lifting and lowering the basket are very smooth.

The only reason I'd buy a more expensive model would be to get a larger capacity, but that would entail more counter space, more cost for oil -- not worth it for home use.
