Pros: easy storage, easy to use, heats quick
Cons: The water is exteremly hot, like boiling hot.
Overall, the product is great and serves it's purpose very well but make sure to let it cool down for awhile first before consuming your drink.
It's nice, BUT... November 23, 2008
This hot water dispenser is nice, but not as nice as the white one. The 'heat' button is easier to press on the white one, and it seems less messy. One thing that is a real disappointment with this one is that you can't fit a bigger mug underneath, only the very basic standard size mug.
Hot Water, in an INSTANT November 17, 2008
I really enjoy having access to HOT water almost INSTANTLY. It is very fun pouring water onto this device and knowing that it will be hot in seconds. For the price you pay to get access to INSTANT hot water this device is priceless. Now i dont have to get a headache whenever i want to make hot coffee or a soup!

We have been using this Hotshot for a couple of years. It was a Xmas present from a friend who has been using one for over 20 years; obviously this is a newer model. It has replaced my cumbersome teapot and now my husband uses a French press for coffee instead of a coffee maker. So our kitchen seems a little less cluttered. It's very quick, even at a mile high. We leave a 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup in it. No leaks in ours!
Hot Shot a must have October 18, 2008
I have used hot shots for years. I would be lost without it. Every kitchen should have one. Great for instant coffee,tea,jello,soups, hot chocolate, and on and on. Quicker than a tea kettle and better than the micro. Now they come in black which goes with my other appliances. I am a happy customer.
