This is one of the cheapest coffee maker I've ever seen December 25, 2008
The first time I took the coffee maker out of the box I tried to open the filter holder. It was stuck. I read through the instructions to see if there was some trick but it said it should just swing open. So I applied more pressure to it and it popped open and the hinge broke. Now it is useless and I never even used it. After that I realized it doesn't even have an automatic shut off. It won't turn off until you turn it off. I'm too forgetful in the morning to have to remember to turn it off.
