Product Description
Step 1: Fill the Bodum Latteo with fresh,cold milk up to but not past the "max" (black) line. Step 2: Place the glass pitcher on top of an Electric stove, on a cold glass ceramic cooking surface or in a microwave oven . Heat the milk at a medium setting. Just before milk scalding point is reached (preferably at around 70C/165F), remove the milk from the hot plate or microwave and place the pitcher on the cork mat provided.Step3: Ensure that the cork mat and the glass pitcher are placed on a stable, non-slip surface. Check whether the filter has been screwed on tightly and fit the complete lid unit onto the glass pitcher. Ensure that the spout is properly closed by turning the lid, and that the outlet is turned away from yourself.Step 4: Now hold the handle with one hand, pressing the lid down with the thumb. With the other hand move the plunger up and down with short movements until the whipped milk has the desired consistency. Step 5: The whipped milk will become thicker if you leave it to stand for one minute before spooning it into a cup. Enjoy!SAFETY NOTES: To avoid scalding with hot milk, BODUMR strongly advises you: 1. Not to use the milk whip if the glass pitcher is cracked. 2. To fill the glass pitcher with milk up to the "MAX" mark only. 3. Never to place the glass pitcher on a preheated hot plate or a lit gas ring (danger of breakage). 4. Always warm the milk in the glass pitcher without the lid unit! 5. To hold the pitcher firmly with the handle while whipping milk. 6. During whipping, to close off the spout by turning the lid, and turn the outlet away from the user. 7. When using the milk whip, to keep it away from children. Warning: Hot fluids must be handled with care.
