4 out of 5 stars Great idea, the straw is difficult to clean   September 30, 2008
I would have given this 5 stars but the straw is really difficult to clean. The concept is brilliant, no more cleaning the blender out, just stick the components of your smoothie in a cup and go. What could be easier!

4 out of 5 stars Oster Blend-N-Go Cup   August 30, 2008
I like the item. Its very nice not to have to clean the whole blender when I want to make a smoothie. The only problem is that you cant add any items once you start blending the smoothie. You have to put all the items in from the start. Otherwise I have had no problems with the Oster Blend-n-Go cup and i highly recomend it!

5 out of 5 stars Blender Cup   August 26, 2008
This cup is awsome. Make a drink in it and take it with you. You don't have to clean the blender and a cup, just the cup.

5 out of 5 stars What could be easier and more convenient?   June 12, 2008
These Blend-N-Go cups are awesome. I make a breakfast drink every morning and it is so nice to just pop the ingredients into the cup and put the blade, gasket and base on and blend away. You have to clean the aforementioned parts of the blender but you don't have to clean a big 40-ounce blender jar every time you make a drink. Just pop your blend-n-go cup in the dishwasher and you're ready to go. These are pretty good quality with a large heavy plastic straw and a strong acrylic/plastic cup. Enjoy!

Just a few days ago I saw this blender cup accessory at the store and immediately felt a deep urge to own it. I had to have it! I didn't buy it right away, but I couldn't stop thinking about it. (And hunting for the more colorful versions. But I'm not paying $5 more for a pretty color). So I went back and bought it.

I love it. It is a sturdy double-walled plastic that has a substantial but not overly heavy feel. It's easy to clean, and if the straw is too annoying to clean or gets lost a person could easily just buy a bag of disposable straws to use. I wish I had had this when I was pregnant. I would have made fruit & yogurt smoothies every single day. Instead of every other day, heh.

I agree with a previous poster that it really seems as if the blend is better and easier with this container than with the large container that comes with the blender. My theory is that it's because there are no "corners" that are out of reach of the blades.

(A tip for anyone who ever has a problem with a rubber gasket leaking, try rubbing it lightly with oil. I haven't had this particular problem with this cup, but at one point I had a hard time getting a seal tight enough without resorting to oil).

I bought the cheapest square metal drive shaft blender I could get ages ago: it was an Oster. It runs like a tank despite its affordability. I later added the large chopper attachment to my collection (I like it, but it can be pretty messy sometimes). To sum up this paragraph, I really love Oster. I love their intelligent and sturdy blenders, and their interchangeable parts and accessories.
