Amazon.com Review Ready for grilled cheese? Cut uniform cheese slices with this sleeklystyled utensil by Amco. Three cutting wires positioned at varyingdistances from a central roller extending from the handle allow you tochoose thin, medium, or hefty thicknesses with a simple turn of the tool. Sturdy and precise, this professional-quality cheese slicer iscomfortable to grasp and has a pleasing heft. An easy-to-clean tool, safe for kids to use, this is a good alternative to cutting cheese witha knife. --Victoria Jenkins

Tri-Cut Cheese Slicer July 13, 2008 After about a week of use the wires stretch. It is still usable but it indicates the slicer is not designed for the long haul.
Great cheese slicer - Lasted 4 years June 28, 2008 This is a great product. It slices very consistently. I have had it for 4 years and am just now replacing the wires. We use weekly if not daily.
Wonderful Amco Cheese slicer!! January 24, 2008 I purchased this cheese slicer 4 years ago, and am soo peased!. I use it on any kind of cheese, unless it's a very hard cheese. I must say, I couldn't be happier! I never had any trouble with it (and I do a LOT of cooking), and my friends like it so much they want their own. I would say the only bad thing about this is that you can't find them in stores around here! I will definitely buy another one if this one ever does break.
Piece of Junk May 3, 2006 If this isn't the worst cheese slicer I've ever used, it's the second worst! The wire stretched out after less than a week's use rendering it pretty much useless. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this one.
Shoddy at Best July 8, 2003 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This cheese slicer seemed appealing, considering that you have the ability to slice at three widths. However, after using the slicer for less than two weeks, on of the wires broke the plastic cap at the top, rendering it useless. I would highly recommend not purchasing this slicer and opting for one without cheap plastic parts.
