MIU France 2-piece red nylon pancake turner, item # 11376. This large turner is perfect for lifting pancakes, cookies or fried eggs without breaking. The nylon head is thin and slides under the food with ease. It is perfect for use with non-stick or metal cookware since it will not scratch the surface. Each set comes with two spatulas, 11.5" long with a 5" wide head and 12.5" long with a 6" wide head. Each spatula has an end hook for hanging. Dishwasher safe.

 Need a finer edge - not good for cast iron March 26, 2008

These are HUGE! The head on the largest is a full 6" x 5" and the smaller 5" x 4". As others have said, they can't take very high temperature, beware, but if you need to flip something big, these will do the trick nicely. The large one is perfect for grilled cheese on large bread slices. Picks the whole thing up neatly so the sandwich doesn't collapse over the side of the spatula. However, the front edge of both spatulas is blunt, so you CANNOT scrape a product off cast iron or other non-stick grill surfaces. This is a big problem. I use them less than I thought I would because the edge just bumps into the cakes and shears them off above the crisp bottom, and that's a mess and a waste. If you have non-stick only, they're fine. The color is a deep red, the design very neo and smart.

I ordered this set of spatulas because they look good with good reviews. I used the small one to fry egg. It warped and i only used it once. I was not happy about it. I emailed Miufrance and i got very fast response. They shipped me a new one. It only took 4 days. I was impressed and all happy until i opened the package. The 'new' one i received. It looked like it is used. It is a different red color. It warped even worse than the one i want to replace. ( I have never used the 'new' one and it came new but warped ) I was pissed..emailed them back. The answer i got was an educatin on usng it below certain temp which i already knew. They apologized and suggested me to return them to Amazon for a refund. They think Amazon may have a better batch than they do. All they have in stock right now is like the 'new' one i received which looks defective to me. They also suggested i can contact Amazon to get a replaced one since they may have a better batch. Okay, here is the problem. The spatulas they made are not consistent with the quality. Seller A's may be different than seller B's. You are lucky if u get good ones. It advertises lifetime warranty ( of course under correct use )but now they pass the buck to Amazon. I am writing to Amazon to see if they will send me a new one to replace the defective one. I do need spatulas. If not, i will just retun them and get a refund then buy a better brand.

I contacted Amazon and they shipped me a new set the next day. I am very pleased with Amazon service. They always have good customer service. I guess i will give it a try again but i probably won't buy any MIU product anymore. I bought their spatula set of 4 and i didn't like the qulaity either.

The following review is written by my wife: My husband bought me this set of spatulas for Christmas and I absolutely love them! The look of them is so neat - something I've never seen before. I love the generous size of them too. They're perfect for everything you'd normally use a spatula for and they clean up perfectly in the dishwasher. The color is also fun!
