Great froth, bad batteries November 19, 2008 The up side of this product is that it makes and amazingly thick froth with very little work. The downside is that when the rechargeable batteries die there is no way to replace them. I think that is selfish of a company to expect you to buy a whole new one when all that's wrong with it is the battery. I also feel that it is ecologically irresponsible of a company to not have to option to replace the battery. So dumb!!!!
Terrific kitchen tool November 16, 2008 I have been frustrated with battery-powered stirrers for years and I hate to think about the cost of batteries that has added up. The BonJour Frother has answered every problem and become, second to the microwave, my most used kitchen device. It is a solid, well-designed appliance that looks good on the counter--and it is always in the right place when you need it since it easily goes back in the charger after every use. It is powerful--so much so that you need a big cup and/or have to pulse the button to avoid spilling. It can even whip up egg whites or whipped cream. Best of all, there is no hassle with batteries--and after months of use, no diminution of performance. It's a great gift since it will be used and appreciated every day.
Great little frother October 24, 2008 Have used this almost daily for about 3 weeks now, and I love it. It makes lots of froth, and so far, I am still on the original charge. Works much better than the 2 regular battery operated ones I have owned previously.
Works great October 4, 2008 I've been using this for a couple of years now. Works great.Consider a battery one, though, because this does take up a plug full-time. (And if you haven't invested in a battery recharger yet, what are you waiting for?)
Makes great foam September 23, 2008 It makes outstanding foam with the whole mile we use - better than any Starbucks (while they seem to have forgotten what good foam is) and equally well as the best Peets. I love it and now I don't have to buy and throw away so many batteries anymore. It took me just a little to figure out how to make top quality microfoam (the milk needs to be nicely heated) but now it works every time. I highly recommend it (and we are foam snobs :-)). I did follow the recommendation and do not leave it plugged in for more than 24 hours at a timem - I usually leave it plugged in for 8-12 ours.
