Product Description The heavy-gauge aluminized-steel used in this professional-grade pan retains heat beautifully and bakes consistently all the way up the sides, so it?s perfect for baking delicious homemade breads or meatloaf. Precise folding technology is the key to the pan's strength: steel is folded over at the ends, tripling the corner thickness and reinforcing the rim. A wire rod is curled inside for extra strength and warp-resistance. Choose 1-lb. or 1 1/2-lb. pan.
All Chicago Metallic Commercial Bakeware is made to meet the exacting standards of commercial bakers and home cooks who prefer the tradition of baking on uncoated pans. Each pan is crafted from aluminized steel that combines the durability, strength and heat conduction of an aluminum alloy. The uncoated surface offers good reflectivity for even dispersion of heat and more consistent, even baking and gradual browning. After repeated use, darkening of the pan will actually enhance baking performance.
Product Features Professional-weight bread pan made of heavy-gauge, aluminized stainless-steel Traditional uncoated surface for consistent, even baking and browning Perfect sizes for all types of breads and meatloaf Holds up to metal utensils Rust- and corrosion-proof Finished with a rolled rim for added strength and warp-resistance Oven-safe to 550 F 25-year limited warranty

Love it! November 23, 2008 I have a lot of loaf pans but this out does them all. It's heavy duty, cleans up nice, and cooks evenly. I love this pan!
My "go to" bread pan August 17, 2008 Even thought this isn't non-stick - everything comes out great. The weight of this pan is wonderful. I bought several for christmas last year and gave it with Beer Bread mix.
Great bread pan August 4, 2008 Nonstick. Works like a charm. I use this to make bob's red mill bread mixes that make 1.5 pound loaves. My bread comes out perfectly every time. I forgot to oil the pan and it still didn't stick at all. Very clean, high quality product. Highly recommended.
Great for Challa and breads April 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Top top quality, heavy construction, durable, keeps its shape in the heat, non-stick but doesn't use any coating (I hate coating), made of metal/aluminum so it doesn't corrode or get stained. You can simply feel the top quality of these pans. Best pans you'll even own. Great for Challa, and any type of bread.
WOW Great Bread Pan January 27, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have been baking bread for over 20 years and finally decided to treat myself to a commercial grade pan, hey the kids have left so why not spend their inheritance! Over the years I have used a lot of pans from inexpensive tinplate loaf pans to the good quality non stick pans. This pan ROCKS. Bakes evenly with consistently even brown crust. Great results every time. I have not had any problems with bread sticking in the pan. I spay the pan lightly and the bread literally falls out after baking. I agree with one reviewer that the folds at the ends of the pan can be a bit of a "pain" (get the pun) when you clean the pan but like they said just use a soft toothbrush to loosen any residue and problem solved (this isn't required all the time). Chicago Metallic makes a great product .... treat yourself and get this pan. Highly recommended.
