This pan is excellent for big, moist breakfast muffins that will take you through to lunch. Measuring 3-3/4 inches in diameter and just a smidgen less than 2 inches deep, the cups can also be lined with parchment to serve as ramekins for little cakes and puddings. Its sturdy aluminized steel is of a professional quality and exceptionally durable, good for years of Sunday morning muffin baking, and the large size helps keeps muffins moist. As with all Silverstone coated pans, you'll probably need to set the cooking temperature 25 degrees lower than a recipe calls for, because the pan's dark color absorbs heat--you might also want to check baked goods a few minutes earlier than the recipe suggests. --Shannon Borg

A good muffin pan November 2, 2008
I have been using this pan for quite a while. It appears to be holding up well. I use it about twice a month. The muffins made in this pan are extra large sized. I would have preferred a slightly smaller Texas sized muffin but the quality of the pan is good. I have other large muffin pans by another manufacturer and if they wore out I would buy this brand again.

I love this pan to entertain, from savory to sweet, mini pies, cheesecakes,puff pastry,etc. It is dishwasher safe and my kids love the bite size treats and it is a perfect size for small hands and big hands alike. My favorite treats are mini quiches, a few eggs milk ham cheese scallions salt pepper, in the oven about 350 for 20-30 minutes. Yummy(<:

It's been so easy to make the large muffings I often purchased at the health club for a hefty sum and also at overpriced cafes'. Now I have control over the content and cost. Non-stick baking is fantastic. Great product.

After wanting a jumbo muffin pan for years, I finally received one as a wedding shower gift, and I love it! You can use this pan with standard muffin recipes that make a dozen small muffins; you'll just get six large muffins instead. With a bit longer cooking time than for smaller muffins, this muffin pan cooked my jumbo muffins to perfection: golden brown and evenly cooked throughout. Plus, it was completely non-stick, so getting the muffins out of the pan--even sticky blueberry-packed ones--wasn't a problem, and clean up was a breeze. A highly recommended item!

This is the product for you! Right after I got it, I couldn't wait to try it, so I ran to the store and bought muffin mix. I used two regular-sized boxes of apple cinnamon muffin mix and got six large muffins with nice domed tops. It took about twice as long for the muffins to bake but they were delicious. Since then I have used this probably every other week for bran muffins, oat bran muffins, etc. It's great if you have overnight guests, in the morning you can serve them freshly-baked restaurant-sized muffins and it's pretty impressive. I highly recommend this item!
