Product Description Crisp, puffy popovers are crowd pleasers with any meal. Using this aluminum, nonstick pan, you can create up to 12 at a time. Cups are designed so that as popovers bake, rise, and "pop over" they won't spread into the others in the pan. Deep tapered cups promote even baking and better air circulation. Use for muffins and cornbread, too. Dishwasher safe.
Amazon.com Review Regular muffin tins can't make a perfect popover--the classic American pastry that requires just the right heat circulation to inflate and pop over without overcrowding. Chicago Metallic has engineered this pan to ensure that every popover gets a big rise. Each 2-1/4-by-2-inch cup is suspended from crossbars and has an extra-wide lip so popovers can spread out and up. Properly puffed, popovers are a quick breakfast indulgence with butter and jam, or a savory surprise for dinner when stuffed with a mushroom filling. This pan is made from the same professional-quality steel and nonstick coating as Chicago Metallic's full line of bakeware, which is designed for the home cook who has high standards. --Lynne Sampson

Great pan! November 23, 2008 This is a nice heavy duty popover pan. Clean up is a breeze. You can't go wrong with Chicago Metallic.
I agree this item is mislabeled! March 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I did not read the comments before I ordered (lesson learned) - so I was fairly shocked when my pan arrived so see that it is a "12 cup MINI popover pan." Of course, I have the option of returning the item, but I would have to pay shipping. After waiting for over a week for my pan to arrive, I can't tell you how disappointed I am. MINI clearly didn't fit in with my popover plans! I will make a trip to Linens and Things or Target to find what I really want - so much for convenience!
lovely heavy duty pan March 24, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These pans are lovely, were reasonably priced and work great. No sticking, even baking, easy clean-up. The popovers I made in them were perfection.
Make note: It is a "MINI!" February 19, 2007 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
The product description should say that the pan is a "mini" popover pan- not a full sized one. It came with packaging that said so but I was unaware based on the description when I ordered. I should have read the reviews!
Chicago Metallic Gourmetware Non-Stick 12-Cup Popover Pan January 10, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I ordered this item because I had a 6-cup popover pan, but a 12-cup would be more practical when preparing meals for a larger group of people. The item arrived in a really timely manner and the quality of this item is great. This item should last for a very long time based on the quality of material used and how well made it is contructed. I am totally satisfied with the product, I have no complaints what so ever!
