Amazon.com Review Cakes, cookies, muffins, and other hot dishes cool quickly and evenly with this Chicago Metallic cooling grid. After cooking, transfer baked delicacies to this cooling rack, which is raised to promote air circulation and prevent sogginess as well as encourage fast cooling. The 15-1/2-by-12-inch rack is large enough to hold several batches of cookies or a quarter sheet cake. The sturdy rack is chrome-plated, and, best of all, it's dishwasher-safe. --Linda Dahlstrom

Well built but one drawback January 7, 2008 These are well built and solid. Unfortunately, they do not fit the Chicago Mettalic half sheet pans. They are about 1/2 inch too wide. They still work fine but that caused me to give one less star. You would think that Chicago Metallic would make these to fit the sheet pans.
Ya gotta cool it first... December 1, 2007 Great grate. I needed something bigger than your usual cooling rack as I do 3 or four loaves at a time. This was reasonably priced and looks like it will last forever. I think it was a pretty good buy. Chicago Metallic makes the best stuff. 3 times heavier than anything around for just a little bit more.
I like it October 25, 2007 I like this rack. Different size baked goods don't fall through like some racks. Lightweight and sturdy.
THE RACK I'VE WANTED, BUT DIDN'T KNOW I WANTED September 12, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This grid, placed over a sheet pan, is perfect for draining/cooling fried foods, cookies, etc. -- watch Alton Brown to see what I mean. I had been using cookie cooling racks with straight rows of wire, but would often have things slip through the rack or droop down beween the wires, these racks have crisscrossed wires like a crossword puzzle and hold everything in place. I've even used it to support a roast in a 350 degree oven with good results.
Does Not Fit Better Together Pan August 12, 2007 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I fell into the better together trap and got stuck with a rack that does not fit pan. This is false advertisement.
