An unusual design renders this glass teapot almost perfectly symmetrical--the spare spout is so flush with the surface of the pot that it practically disappears. The other distinctive feature of the bowl-shaped pot is its gracefully bent beechwood handle, a warm addition to the crystalline glass. With a distinct Asian feel, the Senso teapot transforms brewing a cup of tea, or in this case up to six cups, into a calming ritual. Jenaer teapots are hand-blown in Germany of borosilicate glass, tempered for heat-resistance and durability. A glass teapot enables the tea drinker not only to appreciate the aroma of fine teas but to view each tea's unique color as it steeps until just the right strength is achieved. The generous glass infuser, which inserts into the pot, allows the tea leaves to spread during steeping without letting them escape.
