pretty darn good November 24, 2008 Followed the tips given by other reviewers. Made darn good waffles with just a mix. Easy clean up. If you think the beep is so annoying, you might consider eating out. I thought it was very helpful.
works as expected November 12, 2008 I purchased this waffle iron after watching "Good Eats". Now the product was not mentioned by name however the show recommeded the requirements this Waffler provides. I have since used it several times. I am very pleased with it.
It just makes waffles... October 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's really nice when you buy a product and it just does what it's supposed to do. This was a Christmas present for my wife and I knew she wouldn't use it if it was too complicated, if it was messy to use or difficult to clean up.
Well, here's the deal: It works just great and the first (and last) waffle that popped out of the little sucker was just perfect. She found that it was easy to guesstimate how much batter to put into it without overflow and it just doesn't have to be cleaned up much because the waffles easily pop loose. It "beeps" when it's ready for batter and it beeps again when your waffle is ready. Couldn't be simpler.
It's small, easy to store and the cord stores neatly on castings in the bottom. It would be a great addition to any kitchen (even in an RV because of it's small size). Buy two if you have a large family!
VillaWare Waffle Maker October 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have used the waffle maker several times, and I have been very happy with the results. The waffles are cooked consistently to my taste. The alarm that notifies you that the waffle maker is pre-heated, and when the waffle is ready works perfectly. There is no on and off switch, but you just have to unplug it. One thing I did not like was the slider that controls how long the waffle cooks. The switch is a bit flimsy.
