Grrrrrrreat! October 24, 2008 Pros: Heats evenly Heats up fast Completely non-stick easy clean up Awesome for tossing pasta with sauce and meat
REMEMBER!!! DON'T ever use your circulon cookware with HIGH heat. If you bother to read your insert, it tells you to use no higher than MID-HIGH, and Unless I am not boiling water, I usually use mine at MID temperature. It makes the pan last years in near perfect condition.
Very nice pan February 5, 2008 My criteria for a good stir fry pan were these: 1. Light weight 2. Food release 3: Weight of bottom as regards uneven cooking, burning etc. It gets an 8/10 for weight -- it's a little bit heavier than my previous (macy's brand) pan -- but I think it's a little better quality. For #2 --a 9/10 so far. NO sticking and burning, #3. Food seems to be cooking evenly and I can neglect it during cooking for a few mins and nothing bad happens so 8/10 here too. Overall I'm pretty happy. the pan did arrive at my door with a minor dent from the shipping though -- so the opening is no longer a perfect circle. . Has not seemed to affect the cooking that I can tell.
great lightweight pan January 2, 2008 I bought this pan as a gift for my husband. He likes doing stir fry but wanted a lighter pan. Saw a review for this pan in a magazine which recommended it (Cook's Illustrated, I think). So far, it has worked really well. It's lighter than other pans so it's really easy to use and move around. It cleans up great. We're very happy with this pan so far and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stir fry pan or wok.
Good, versatile pan November 13, 2007 We have now used the pan a few times and it seems to work nicely. It is versatile and can be used for spaghetti sauce, frying, sauteeing, etc. Many uses. It seems sturdy and we are happy with the purchase.
WOK this way! January 19, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Love this wok. I am a wokaholic and this wok fits my life perfectly. I have used this wok almost everyday for the past 3 weeks and it is great. Food heats up evenly everywhere in the pan. I reach for this pan first for almost everything I fry or saute. I make omelets in this. I fried up some salmon cakes. Made some great sesame coated tuna steaks in it. I sauteed some kale with garlic and made carmelized brussel sprouts with walnuts. I even made a batch of cous cous and so on; the list is endless. I just dont need many other pans or skillets when I have this. My previous woks were good for about one and half years before they started showing signs of wear on the bottom of the wok, I hope this one since it is a CIRCULON will not show wear for 10 years. I will be happy with that. BUY THIS pan and donate your cheap pan to salvation army, hey YOU deserve a great wok!
