Harder than steel, Anolon Classic pots and pans are made of hard-anodized aluminum and coated inside with DuPont's exceptionally durable, three-layer Autograph nonstick. Because they're aluminum, the pots and pans conduct heat quickly and uniformly without hot spots. The gray matte exterior is characteristic of the hard-anodizing process and resists scratching and denting. Synthetic handles and lid knobs are oven-safe to 350 degrees F, and handles are riveted for strength. Lids are made of break-resistant glass so you can monitor food while it's cooking without releasing heat. This 4-quart saucepot is useful for making pasta sauce for all the relatives and many other cooking tasks. It can go into the oven for slow-cooking or warming food. Good Pot July 22, 2006
Used to have a different meaning back in the 60's. Seriously, this is my favorite pot and I have a complete set of Ultrex, Farberware and some restaurant pieces as well. It is not too heavy, durable and NOTHING sticks. I use it to make sauce, cook a little pasta, steam clams. I use it by far the most of all my pots. I wish they made a whole set like this, but I haven't seen it yet.

very nice pot. Not too heavy but not too light either which makes it just right for the cooking. It goes very well if you cook (soup for example) for little family like ours.
And I've got it even earlier then i expected.

Unlike the Anolon 'Classic' crepe pan and egg poacher, this beauty is heavy weight and holds heat well. Just about perfect for pasta or soup. A wonderful value. Thank you, Amazon!
Love this pot! July 23, 2004
I've had my 4 Qt pot for a number of months and just love it. It is a good size for cooking chili or stew. I also use it for boiling small portions of pasta. Clean up is easy and pot is sturdy and good quality. What a bargain at $30!
