Available in the following motifs: Late Duke Cherry, Hoary Morning Apple, Roman Apricot, Reine Cluade Plum, Teinton Squashed Pear and Grimwoods Royal George. Pictured in the Hoary Morning Apple. Named after the ancient goddess of fruit, Pomona is an outstanding decoration where the choicest fruits from the best gardens of the early 19th Century are displayed. The romantic shape was inspired by the generous rounded forms of seed pods and gourds. Each cup and plate comes patterned with one of six luscious fruits taken from hand colored books of the 1830s. Most of the Accessories range is made of dense, high fired, white earthenware that is resistant to chipping and breaking. This ware is ovenproof to 170 degrees Celcius/340 degrees Farenheit and is microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. Made for day-to-day use.
