quality dishes October 31, 2008
Both my roommates and I love these bowls. They are just the right size for cereal but we also use them for ice cream, soup-like dishes, oatmeal, pasta, among pretty much anything else. Although large enough for cereal and snacks, it's a little on the small side for a traditional American sized meal, however, I prefer that -- I can always go back for seconds and it doesn't take up as much space. I wasn't sure I'd like the yellow color, however, I now prefer the color to some of the dishes with my typically preferred colors such as blue and green.
I haven't made these bowls jump through all the hoops that they claim they can handle. I've run these through the dishwasher but haven't put it under the broiler or in a microwave, which is supposedly okay... I'm always hesitant to put anything but bakeware in the oven.
These are made in France, not China (for those who are swayed by such things). I intend to pick up another pair of these on my next Amazon order of the same color: yellow.

Have had Amazon ship 8 complete place settings and all delivered with no breakage.
The sets are very nice, durable, bright colors, and large sized. Very happy with purchase.
