Fruit and leaves in muted tones accented with 22-carat gold give Evesham from Royal Worcester a gracious, Old World feel. Made in England, this rectangular baking dish with handles complements a full line of Evesham dinnerware and goes right from the oven to the table. Measuring an actual 15-1/2 by 11-1/4 by 3 inches, the casserole amply bakes enough lasagna, enchiladas, or chicken for a dinner party. Like all Evesham pieces, the casserole dish features a glossy white background decorated with different kinds of fruit, in this case on both the inside and outside. Russet-colored leaves pick up the gold band that trims the slightly flared rim. The two integrated handles allow the casserole dish to be carried securely. While the dish is safe for oven and freezer, hand-washing with a mild detergent is recommended to protect the gold trim for generations to come. --Ann Bieri
