Amazon.com Review Braun's premium AromaDeluxe takes a basic coffeemaker and adds some invaluable features. The coffeemaker brews up to 10 cups using a fast brewing method that thoroughly extracts the rich flavor and aroma from your ground coffee. The integrated Brita water filter also contributes to better-tasting coffee by screening out chlorine and other harsh minerals, plus it prevents calcification within the water tank. A marker on the top of the water tank helps you keep track of when the water filter needs to be changed. The AromaDeluxe's digital display has a clock and a brewing indicator that allows you to program the machine to brew your coffee before you get out of bed in the morning. Other handy extras on this coffeemaker include a permanent gold-tone filter; a filter release button, which swings the detachable filter basket open for filling or easy cleaning; and a Pause and Serve feature, which stops the brewing while you pour yourself a cup of coffee midway through a cycle. For safety, the glass carafe has a comfortable, nonslip handle with an open design to accommodate larger hands. This coffeemaker comes with one extra Brita water filter and is covered by a one-year limited warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Bad Deal June 24, 2008 Braun KF580-BK AromaDeluxe 10-Cup TimeControl Coffeemaker, BlackWatch Sellers return policy / bought this coffee maker from Electronics/ worked for 3 mo. and will not work now, notified seller only to be told I had to have all original packaging in order to return for exchange & of course I am not in the habit of storing all packaging when I purchase an item.I am out the money and the store got rid of a faulty coffee maker,I would say a pretty good DEAL for them not ME. macer46
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Braun March 27, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was purchased as a replacement for my 16-year old Braun. I LOVE the new style and it brews as well. It's a bit more compact than my older model, and brews fabulous coffee. I would buy it again and again. But I don't expect to have to buy another one for a long time since this appliance line has longevity! It does come with a Brita filter which I don't use - we have fabulous water in this area - but it's a nice option if you need to use filtered water.
Not worth the money March 25, 2008 I have owned this coffee maker for about a month. It is just a coffee maker, and no more. The coffee is not hot enough for my tastes, and there are virtually no features worth discussing except that it has the swing away basket which makes it easy to fill with coffee. I am truly disappointed in this product.
Not the Best February 27, 2008 This coffee maker leaves a lot to be desired. The coffee is not as hot as I would like it to be. The old Braun coffee makers were far superior to this one. It does not have the functions of the old ones, where you could set the strength. It also does not have an alert to tell you coffee is finished or that the pot is shutting off. I am somewhat disappointed in this coffee maker.
Don't buy if you want strong coffee February 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this model in white. Loved a lot about it. The basket swings out easily at the push of a button. It has easy buttons on the front and the water container is nice and wide.It is not overly tall. The carafe does not drip and has an ergonomic handle. The coffee is really hot but the hot water jettisons out and pushes the grinds in the filter to the sides which makes for a weak cup of coffee.Today I will bring this coffeemaker back and will probably get a Black&Decker for half the price.
