Amazon.com Review For those coffee drinkers who enjoy honoring the tradition by using filtered or purified water, this is a great addition to that freshly brewed morning pot. Chemical additives to tap water--chlorine is a common one--affect the flavor of both the water and any beverages made with that water. Why settle for less than a perfect cup of coffee? Drop the little cartridge directly into the water reservoir in your drip machine. Measuring only 3 by 3 by 1 inches, it will fit into just about any machine. Replace the filter every two months for continued high performance. --Jill Lightner

Less for more October 3, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was happy to see that these filters are once again available. They are really nice for my Braun coffee maker because the water where I live is so hard. I bought this one and it came today. I thought it was the 2-pack, which is what I've always seen, but this price is for ONE filter. If you want the 2 pack, then go here: http://www.amazon.com/Braun-Brita-Patented-Filter-2-Pack/dp/B000062UH2/ref=pd_bxgy_k_text_b
Filter water through gold? September 3, 2008 The product is difficult to find, except online, and ridiculously expensive, but it does improve the taste of the coffee. I suggest ordering more than one to save on the shipping even if it means paying throught the nose twice!
Filter works great...cofee maker bites August 22, 2008 The concept is terrific, great coffee, no need to have external water filters. The problem is with the Bruan Coffe maker. It is constantly overflowing, the auto-shut-off is not dependable and it is prone to calification(sp). I have never had that problem before. My Braun thermal carafe lasted five months before the overlaoded fliters/spilling out and steam dispersing up my wall and onto the counter top.
Filter great!
Machine horrible.
Excellent for improving taste April 20, 2008 Well, we were on the verge of replacing the coffee machine because the taste of the coffee was no longer good. I cleaned the machine but that wasn't the problem. We had a filter slot but never had used a filter because we didn't realize that we needed one. The filter did the trick. We saved the money that a new coffee machine would have cost. We received the filter promptly after placing the order and the improvement in taste is substantial. It wasn't expensive. Highly recommend the product and the service from provider.
Amazon can't find them March 18, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I ordered this item from Amazon and was notified they could not find Braun water filters anywhere. My question: Why is it on your website if you can't find them?
