The same old cheese and crackers are elevated from customary to sensational with this luxurious handcrafted cheese and cracker set. The three-piece set includes a 12-by-6-inch rectangular black granite cheese board with an aluminum handle, a 7-1/2-inch aluminum cheese knife, and a rack-style aluminum cracker tray. The brilliant luster of the tray and the knife and cheese board handles captures the elegance of antique silver but all are actually made of hand-polished aluminum, which is much easier for today's busy hostesses to maintain. The design features beautiful magnolia blossoms with leaves in bas-relief forming the cracker tray and cheese board handle while the knife handle is sculpted into a vine with a magnolia bud at its neck. The 3-3/4-inch knife blade is made of stainless steel and has a serrated edge to minimize sticking when slicing through soft cheeses. A forked tip on this knife is helpful for spearing cubes or slices of cheese for serving. This aluminum serveware is not dishwasher-safe but cleans easily with mild soap and water. The set makes a wonderful wedding gift for the couple who loves to host upscale cocktail parties.
